Sensei Louis Ibarra holds the rank of sandan (3rd degree black belt) in Kokikai Aikido.  He occasionally teaches at the Kokikai Aikido club of the University of Chicago and has taught there since 2002.  Until 2002, he taught at the Victoria Kokikai Society, a non-profit club in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada that he founded in 1997.  He began his practice of Kokikai Aikido in 1991 at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
